Hey all

I have my cache set up so users can clear the cache. At the bottom of the site you see

"This site is cached. Click here to update the cache".

When you click the link nothing happens. I noticed when you hover over the link, you can see this

javascript:clear_cache.submit()

What is the problem here o do I have something setup wrong ?

On my site it does.
Check in the Admin Cache area when the cache was cleared the last time, after you used the link on the bottom of your page, it should usually work.

Nope, that's just it nothing happens. Page doesn't refresh or anything. Just sits there as if you didn't do anything :(

My guess is that is theme related ? but I really don't know

UPDATE

I just had the theme tested on another site and it worked fine so, that ruled out a theme issue

After further looking into this I found it works in IE9, Chrome, Safari

Just wont work with FF.

I did find this pointing to the javascript, but I don't understand it. I did reupload the ajax folder to see if it somehow got corrupt but that was no help.

Anyone else know what to do ?

5STAR, i have the same trouble with my site, but I have tried to clear the cashe in IE and Firefox and neither will clear. I refuse to download safari or chrome, so not sure about that. I wouldn't have even tried IE but it was already installed on my system, and my site is the only one I use IE for for security reasons. I'm stumped on the cashe too, i've searched a couple times, but no luck finding a solution so far.
