BIO:  Several  Countries  offer  digital  'ID  Cards'  to  its  population.  Those  same  countries  offer  a  digital  recognition  system  that  webmasters  can  use  to  'detect  user'  as  well  as  'digitally  sign  forms'  online  without  the  need  for  a  postal  mail  system.  In  a  nut  shell,  this  means  that  you  can  sign  legal  government  documents  without  ever  leaving  your  home!

This  card  can  be  read  using  a  'Card  Reader'  that  can  be  purchased  at  most  computer  shops  for  less  then  6  euros.  This  project  is  the  basis  of  dealing  with  a  'Legal'  and  'Secure'  way  of  dealing  with  registration,  login,  and  cart-purchases  through  your  Nuke  Evolution  Xtreme  CMS.  (  This  operates  as  a  plugin  ).

 Server  Requirements:
 SSL
 SSL  Certificate

 Cleint  Requirements:
 Java  Enabled  Browser
Cookies  Enabled  (  Default  by  Evo  Anyways  )

 Available  Vars:
 SSL_CLIENT_S_DN_O
 SSL_CLIENT_S_DN_C
 SSL_CLIENT_S_DN_G
 SSL_CLIENT_S_DN_OU

To-Be-Updated

First  and  biggest  problem  is  that  the  webmaster  needs  to  ensure  they  have  an  SSL  certificate  installed  on  their  server  which  although  are  fairly  cheap  for  rapid  SSL  aren't  in  the  price  range  for  everyone  in  the  world.

 Great  idea  though.

You  may  trust  a  free  service  but  i  don't,  i  would  rather  have  a  well  known  and  trusted  brand  getting  passed  to  a  user.

That  is  right..because  the  SMART  thing  to  do,  would  be  to  go  out  and  pay  money  for  a  resource  to  DEVELOP  on!  AKA,  pay  12.00  -  20.00  just  to  test  some  php  and  java  applets  that  are  simply  going  to  be  re-distributed  free  to  other  (  Yeah,  that  just  makes  perfect  sense  !)

I  have  no  clue  what  people  think  is  'NOT  Trust  worthy  about  Certs'!!!  It  is  simply  a  service  that  allows  the  client  to  sign  a  digital  cert  on  a  server.  That  'Signature'  is  then  saved  in  a  session  cookie.  What  can  possibly  be  done  maliciously  from  a  server  or  client  ?
